Peru Jr High Tigers Surge Past North Miami- 04/09/26, 5:30 PM Thanks To Big Fourth Inning By GameChanger Media Peru Jr High Tigers defeated North Miami 15-0 on Thursday thanks in part to eight runs in the fourth inning. Liam Hoover singled, scoring one run, Rory Donathan drew a walk, scoring one run, Finley Drook doubled, scoring one run, Pierce Babbs singled, scoring two runs, and Isaac Church hit an inside the park home run, scoring three runs. Peru Jr High Tigers got on the board in the top of the second inning after Donathan doubled, scoring two runs, Lucas Green singled, scoring one run, Babbs singled, scoring two runs, and Liam Sopher drew a walk, scoring one run. A wild pitch extended the Peru Jr High Tigers lead to 7-0 in the top of the third inning. Green stepped on the hill first for Peru Jr High Tigers. The pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out nine and walking four. Keagan Wibel stepped on the mound first for North Miami. The hurler allowed four hits and six runs over two innings, striking out four and walking four. Peru Jr High Tigers tallied 10 hits in the game. Babbs drove the middle of the lineup, leading Peru Jr High Tigers with four runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Green, Babbs, and Donathan each collected two hits for Peru Jr High Tigers. Jayvier Hunt led Peru Jr High Tigers with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. Church and Sopher each stole multiple bases for Peru Jr High Tigers. Sam Sailors went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead North Miami in hits. North Miami were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Sailors had the most chances in the field with eight.
