⚾️Varsity Baseball Wins 6-4 Over Frontier Peru Varsity Tigers were victorious against Frontier Varsity Falcons 6-4 on Friday. A single by Mansfield put Frontier Varsity Falcons on the board in the top of the first. Frontier Varsity Falcons added one run in the second. , making the score 2-0. Frontier Varsity Falcons added one run in the third. Sorensen grounded out, making the score 3-0. Peru Varsity Tigers flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a ground out by Musser that drove in two. Bellar earned the win for Peru Varsity Tigers. The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Boswell pitched four innings in relief for Peru Varsity Tigers. The reliever gave up six hits and one run while, striking out two and walking none. Cosgray took the loss for Frontier Varsity Falcons. The right-handed pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, giving up five runs on three hits, striking out one and walking three. Boswell, Boswell, Wright, and Ulery each drove in one run for Peru Varsity Tigers. Bellar led Peru Varsity Tigers with two hits in three at bats.
