⛳️Girls Golf competes against strong field in Lafayette Jeff Invite     The Tigers hit the road again to Battle Ground Golf Club for the Lafayette Jeff Invite on Tuesday. The tournament featured three of the top seven teams in the state and other strong programs from the area. Piercey Dyer led Peru with another outstanding round, finishing at 2-under par 70 and earning a tie for 3rd place. Also scoring was Taylor Caldwell with 138, Charlotte Peck with 143, and Taylor Musser with 144. This was the first round of their high school careers for the three freshmen, and they improved dramatically from start to finish. Zionsville were the team champions with a round of 292 and Kennedy Gutierrez of Valporaiso was medalist with 67. It is another quick turnaround for the team as they play again on Wednesday in the Twin Lakes Invite at Tippecanoe Country Club. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 10:00.
