The Peru Tigers Cross Country Coed team were back in action today for the Logansport Jacob Graf Memorial Invitational this Saturday 8/22. The team raced very well, and saw many new Season and Career Personal Bests. Racing conditions were mostly ideal with overcast and temperatures in the 60's. The Tigers now set our sights for the Taylor University Invitational next Saturday August 29th. Our Ladies team did not have enough team members to compete as a team against 101 runners for the Girls Varsity Race. Evaney Fisher ribboned and placed 19th with a time of 23:22.9(Season PR). Alexandra Palm placed 40th with a time of 24:54.3. Esther Collie placed 60th with a time of 26:55.5. Our Boys team competed against 127 runners with a team score of 328 and placing 12th out of 18 teams. Cole Yates placed 41st with a time of 19:04.2(Career PR). Landen Emerson placed 66th with a time of 20:16.8(Season PR). Ian Childs placed 71st with a time of 20:24(Season PR). Tony Richards placed 75th with a time of 20:35.6(Career PR). Marcus Garner placed 84th with a time of 20:53.5(Season PR). Benjamin Garner placed 88th with a time of 21:06.9. Jaxon Jimenez placed 110th with a time of 23:38.71.
