The Peru Girls Varsity Tigers were in action at Southern Wells on Saturday with windy conditions. The Tigers had many shots and shots on goal in the first half of the game from multiple players but were not lucky in getting a scoring goal. The second half of the game proved profitable; however, with 4 goals shot in for the Tigers. This helped seal the win for the Tigers to 4 - 0. Player of note to this game was freshman, Piper Wideman, with saves to her credit and an extremely hard save that seemed impossible. Offensive players that dominated the game were Thaya Reed with her many crosses to the offensive and shots to her stats, Katy Jo Keininger with 3 goals, Cassandra Blong with 1 goal, and Lilly Hoover with her resilience.
