The Peru Tiger Cross Country Coed team was back in action today September 5th for the Brownsburg Invitational. Racing Conditions were very warm today with ladies race being 78 degrees, and the boys race being 82 degrees. We are so proud of how hard the Tigers battled the course in this heat. Some runners were even able to attain new Personal Records(Fastest time this Season or HS Career). Next Saturday we will be racing another super flat course at IWU for the Wildcat Invitational where the team hopes to continue to make progress. Our ladies team placed 8th out of 16 schools with a team score of 243 against 300 runners in the JV race. Evaney Fisher placed 31st with a time of 23:18.72. Alexandra Fisher placed 79th with a time of 24:45.72. Bailey Butt placed 109th with a time of 25:39.58(Season PR). Cassandra Blong placed 115th with a time of 25:50.14(Career PR). Kenya Ellis placed 223rd with a time of 30:37.29(Career PR). Our Boys team placed 8th out of 23 schools with a team score of 264 against 436 runners in the JV race. Cole Yates placed 66th with a time of 18:56.92. Ian Childs placed 117th with a time of 19:54.65(Career PR). Landen Emerson placed 128th with a time of 20:10.65(Season PR).
